We Gonna Get Ronald Kim

Albert and I met after he came to with We Gonna Get Ronald Kim. The film is a semi-dramatic, semi-comedy short about a trio of Korean boys trying to hunt down the infamous 'Ronald Kim,' a super-intelligent 11 year-old who makes them all look bad.

The score ended up as an amalgamation of styles which incorporated Japanese drumming, Western-esque guitars and childlike piano. For the most part the music plays off the Crusade-like nature to the boys' adventure, feeling their determination as they track down their genius rival.
