This project was another video art piece by my friend Billy Tran, this time dealing with a demonstration of cognition and its physical results. As one might notice from the still-shot above, this film featured some rather creatively (if not foolishly) obtained footage of dancing flames.

The score was in a similar vein as the other video art pieces I've done for Billy: sparse and atmospheric. Unlike the others, however, I decided to really contribute to the sound design here, so there are times when the score and the actual audio effects track become indistinguishable. The final result was a very electronic sounding score, at times quite cold and barren.
